Chris Pratt Posts ‘Illegal’ BTS Video from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Set
“Nothing was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity,” he said.
While fans are still reeling over the enormity of the events of Avengers: Endgame, actor Chris Pratt appears to be suffering from post-Endgame blues as well. The actor, who plays Star Lord in the Marvel franchise, posted a “really illegal” behind the scenes video from the film’s sets.
The clip seems to be from a shoot of the the film’s climax when the Avengers assemble for the final battle to defeat Thanos at the ruins of the Avengers headquarters. Several cast members can be spotted either in plain clothes or make-up, including Dave Bautista (Drax), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Elisabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man).
Sean Gunn, who plays Kraglin, jokes about being the most famous person on set after which Pratt admits that “this is a really illegal video”.
According to Pratt, no one was allowed to take any photographs or videos during the filming of Avengers: Endgame to prevent spoilers from leaking out, but he couldn’t help but geek out over seeing so many stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the same place.
“I remember being blown away in this moment on the @avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a groupthat likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed,” he wrote on Instagram.
Here’s how some of the Avengers cast reacted to Chris’ antics.
Of course, Thanos weighed in too.
