Hollywood star Chris Pratt got married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, in an “intimate ceremony” in Montecito, California, on 8 June.
Yesterday, the Guardians of the Galaxy star took to his Instagram account to share a romantic picture from his wedding, which got several congratulatory messages from his friends and colleagues.
Among the wishes was a short but sweet message from Priyanka Chopra. “Amazing! Congratulations!”
His MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Karen Gillan, Zoe Saldana and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 director James Gunn also congratulated the newlyweds. “YAY! I love this picture. So happy for you both!!” wrote Gwyneth.
Zoe wrote, “Many blessings for you guys!!!!”, while Karen said, “Massive congrats!!!!!!!!!” James wrote, “‘Twas beautiful.” Jason Momoa too wished the couple, and Rob Lowe wrote, “Love you two so much!”
Interestingly, Priyanka was cast in Universal Studios film Cowboy Ninja Viking alongside Chris in July last year, but the film was soon put on hold.
The studio had said that the film is still in active development and will be dated down the line “to accommodate production scheduling.” So do we still have a chance to see these two stars on screen together? Perhaps.
Meanwhile Chris will next be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and Priyanka is busy developing a wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling, which is slated to go into production by end of the year.
