Adele All the Way

Adele has left fans across the world with their jaws on the floor. The singer not only won the big three Grammys this year (for the second time in her career), she turned down the ‘Best Album’ award and said that she can’t accept it because she thinks Beyoncé deserves it more than her. Adele still takes home ‘Best Song’ and ‘Best Record’ for Hello, but it’s unclear how this will be resolved.

I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very grateful and gracious but the artist of my life is Beyoncé. And the Lemonade album is just so monumental, Beyonce. And so well thought out, and so beautiful and soul-baring and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we all appreciate that. All of us adore you, you are our light. The way you make me and my black friends feel is so empowering and you make them stand up for themselves. And I love you, I always have and I always will.
Adele, Singer

Adele said that Beyoncé’s LP Lemonade has inspired people across the globe, and that she herself is a big fan.

Will Beyoncé accept the Grammy for ‘Best Record’ now? Let’s wait and watch.

Adele fans may rejoice! After her George Micheal faux pas, they now has reason to celebrate. The British singer just bagged the Grammy for ‘Song of the Year’ and god knows Hello is so worth it. As she accepts the award, she apologised for hitting the wrong notes in her tribute and swearing, thereafter.

First of all, I really do apologise for swearing. It’s George Michael, he means a lot to me. Greg Kurstin kept coming to England to work with me so I didn’t have to leave my son, even though he had a son and daughter of his own. Thank you for your patience with me, and thank you for creating the favourite song that I’ve ever done.
Adele, Singer

Apparently, Adele mouthed “I love you” to Beyoncé, her biggest competitor, as she walked up the stage to receive her award. Here’s the song that made it all happen.
