Bat Signal Lights Up Los Angeles To Say Goodbye To Adam West

West was known widely for his role as Batman in the 1960s. He died of Leukemia at the age of 88.

Late Actor, Adam West, was honoured in Los Angeles when the Bat-singal was lit on City Hall on Friday.

West died of Leukemia at the age of 88. He was known widely for his role as Batman in the 1960s.

In a video uploaded by CNN the bat-signal can be seen shining brightly.

In Batman comics, movies and television shows, the symbol of the winged bat is used as a spotlight on the night sky to call for Batman's help.
