Fans of Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu took to Twitter on Wednesday to troll his contemporary, actor Allu Arjun. Babu’s fans allege that his film Brahmotsavam, which releases on Friday, has been blocked by Allu Arjun’s film Sarainodu. Apparently the latter’s father Allu Arvind owns a chain of theatres, and has the clout to obstruct the release.
Following this, angry fans of Babu started trending #CheapAlluPolitics on Twitter.
Not only Babu’s fans, but even Pawan Kalyan fans are miffed with Allu Arjun. In a success meet for Sarainodu last week, Arjun was asked to say something about Kalyan. But all Arjun said was “Cheppanu, brother”, which translates to “I won’t say, brother.” When he refused to comment on Kalyan in a few interviews that followed, the latter’s fans started trending #ChooskuntamBrother.
However, neither of the actors have commented on the social media outrage as of now.
