Every other song nowadays is a remix, and singer-composer Vishal Dadlani hasn’t taken too kindly to it. He recently took to Twitter to warn people against remixing his and Shekhar’s songs. He also threatened to take legal action if this continues. “Warning: I WILL sue anyone making remixes of Vishal & Shekhar songs. I’ll even move court against the films & musicians. After ‘Saaki Saaki’, I hear upcoming bastardisations include ‘Dus Bahaane’, ‘Deedaar De’, ‘Sajnaji Vaari Vaari’, ‘Desi Girl’ & more. Make your own songs, vultures!,” Vishal wrote.
All these are hit numbers by Vishal and Shekhar. ‘Saaki Saaki’ was remixed by Tanishk Bagchi in the movie RAW featuring Nora Fatehi. The new version was slammed by the original ‘Saki’ girl Koena Mitra. “My song from Musafir #Saaki Saaki has been recreated. Sunidhi, Suhwinder, Vishal, Shekhar combination was outstanding.
