Actor Varun Dhawan’s father David has confirmed that the Kalank star is set to tie the knot with his longtime flame Natasha Dalal sometime next year.
When asked about Varun getting married, veteran filmmaker David Dhawan had this to say to Men’s XP.
“His marriage will happen next year maybe. I am very happy with their relationship. What more does a father need?”David Dhawan
Varun had recently responded to the question of his wedding by playing coy about the exact details but stating that it wasn’t going to happen this year.
“It’s not going to happen this year. I’m not saying I won’t get married but it’s not this soon. If I’m doing all these movies, I need to find the right time for that.”Varun Dhawan
Varun has been very open about his relationship with Natasha and talked about how the two have known each other since their school days.
“Because I have known her, we were in school together. We were just friends, we weren’t dating then. But since day one she has been supportive of my dreams and it has to be the same. It has to be equal from my side. From my side, I have to be supportive of her dreams also, or what she wants to achieve, or what she likes. Eventually, I think as a couple you want to evolve together,”Varun Dhawan
On the movies front, Varun was last seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Kalank which fizzled out at the box office. He is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D opposite Shraddha Kapoor. He will also reunite with dad David for a remake of Coolie No 1 with Sara Ali Khan.
