Sanju may have been in the eye of storm for its whitewashing of Sanjay Dutt but its box office collection has a different story to tell. The film is a massive hit. One of the main reasons for that is the fact that the young Ranbir Kapoor could sink his teeth into the character. This, however, would not have been possible without a stellar prosthetics and makeup team. Here’s a glimpse of what went into the making of Sanju.
Ranbir Kapoor beefed up for the role and revealed that the toughest look to achieve was that of Sanjay Dutt walking out of jail. There was a pressure on them to get the iconic shot right.
They roped in three-time National Award winner, make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad, prosthetics expert Clover and Aalim Hakim to nail the looks across different phases of his life. That is one hell of a team!
