When Sonali Bendre revealed that she’s suffering from metastatic cancer, it left her fans, B-Town and movie viewers heartbroken. As she undergoes treatment in New York she has been coping with the help of her girl gang - Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi, books and her rock - her son, Ranveer.
She’s fighting cancer by mustering up all the positivity that she can with the help of hashtags like #SwitchingOnTheSunshine and #OneDayAtATime.
The actor made a case for involving kids, educating them and letting them in on the nature of the illness of near ones when she mentioned how she derives her strength from her son. Her son Ranveer took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the support that has propped him up in this tough time.
Bendre recently mentioned that her 13-year-old son has been more like a mature adult in this hour of crisis.
“U all have created a ring of light all around me...Thanks too everyone for all the support you all have given me (sic),” he wrote.
