Sonakshi Sinha has a lot on her plate right now. While the star-studded magnum opus Kalank is about to hit theatres, she will also be reprising her role as Rajjo in the third Dabangg film. Sonakshi says that the character is very close to her heart since she had made her acting debut with the film.
"Rajjo is in my blood, I can play Rajjo in my sleep too. We have just started shooting, I joined the team for the title song,'' Sonakshi Sinha told PTI.
Speaking about the importance of a character in a particular film, Sonakshi said, “When a film works, the character also becomes pretty popular. One of my dialogues from Dabangg ‘thappad se darr nahin lagta...’ became a favourite with people. Even today, people ask me to repeat that particular dialogue. It is great for a heroine to have a dialogue that has become iconic.”
The actor also said working on Dabangg 3 is like homecoming for her.

There were reports that Dabangg 3 is going to be a prequel to the other two films, but the actor said that the new film will have both the elements of past and present.
