Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the trailer and music launch of Vikram Phadnis’ marathi film Smile Please. The designer turned director, is a friend of Shah Rukh’s and the actor was all praise for the film.

“While driving here, I was telling my wife that I don’t know why I feel love for him. I don’t spend time with him, I’ve known him for 20 years now. He has created a very big name for himself as a designer and to me, anyone who becomes a filmmaker, becomes very dear,” said Shah Rukh about Vikram.

The Zero actor didn’t forget to take a dig at himself, as he said, “The first thing I asked Vikram is that acchi picture banaayi ya nahi (have you made a good film?), not that I’m someone who should be right now credited with good films.”
