Shah Rukh Khan’s last film Zero did not go down well with the audience. There were speculations that he will essay the role of Rakesh Sharma in his biopic Saare Jahan Se Accha, as well as work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Sahir Ludhianvi biopic. Not to forget the rumours that the superstar will be returning in the third instalment of the Don franchise.

However, in a recent interview with Filmfare Shah Rukh Khan quashed all rumours and said that he has not signed any film yet.

“I have no film with me right now. More often than not, what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time my heart is not allowing me to do so. I feel I should take some time out to watch films, and read books,” Shah Rukh Khan told Filmfare.

The actor also added that he wants to spend more time with his family. “My son Aryan is about to finish his studies and my daughter Suhana is going to college. I would love to spend some quality time with them”, Shah Rukh said.

SRK might not be acting as of now, but he is busy with his production venture titled Bard of Blood for an OTT platform. Recently, Shah Rukh also announced that he and his son Aryan will be lending their voice for King Mufasa and his son Simba respectively in the Hindi version of Disney's upcoming live-action film The Lion King.

Taran Adarsh made the official announcement on Monday.

“BIGGG NEWS... Shah Rukh Khan teams up with son Aryan to do voice over for Disney's #TheLionKing in HINDI... SRK will do voice over for the King of the Jungle, Lion Mufasa, while Aryan will do voice over for Mufasa’s son Simba... 19 July 2019 release,” he wrote on Twitter.

Even before the official announcement, Shah Rukh Khan had already dropped a hint for all of us. He tweeted a photo of him and Aryan in blue cricket jerseys with the names ‘Mufasa’ and ‘Simba’ at the back. SRK easily disguised the message under the garb of Father’s Day. Although, now we know that it was more than that.
