Television show Sasural Simar Ka child actor Shivlekh Singh passed away in a car accident on Thursday, 18 July. The 14-year-old actor was travelling on the outskirts of Raipur with his parents, Lekhna and Shivendra Singh, and another passenger Naveen Singh, who were also injured in the accident. Their car reportedly collided with a truck, which hit the rear of the vehicle. According to a report by Indian Express, Lekhna Singh, Shivlekh’s mother, is in a critical condition. Authorities are currently searching for the truck driver who left his vehicle behind and is absconding.
Shivlekh Singh was originally from the Janjgir-Champa district in Chhattisgarh and had been living in Mumbai for the past decade. He has acted in several television shows including Sasural Simar Ka, Sankatmochan Hanuman and more. His last appearance was on the television show Kesari Nandan. He had also been a part of television reality shows.
