A number of reports have been doing the rounds that Salman Khan has gifted singer Ranu Mondal a house in Mumbai worth Rs 55 lakhs. Secondly, Salman has also been impressed by Ranu’s voice as she became a sensation on social media over the past month through her renditions. The actor will reportedly record a song also for Ranu for Dabangg 3.
Now, sources close to Salman Khan have told The Quint that these claims are not true. There is no basis for the claims that Salman has gifted her a house or is about to record a song.
Ranu Mondal shot to fame after her rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Ek Pyar Ka Nagma went viral on social media. She has also recorded for Himesh Reshammiya. The track Teri Meri Kahaani will be used in Himesh’s upcoming film Happy, Hardy and Heer.
Ranu has also made a special appearance on the reality show Superstar Singer, where she met Himesh.
On the work front, Salman is shooting for Dabangg 3 and has another film lined up for Eid 2020. An announcement about his Eid 2020 film is expected to be made soon.
