A congratulatory tweet from Sachin Tendulkar to Shah Rukh Khan has now escalated into a full fledged dinner plan after the ongoing cricket world cup. That’s right, the story begins with Sachin Tendulkar wishing SRK on completing 27 years in the film industry. Shah Rukh had earlier posted a video of him riding a bike without a helmet (as in his first release Deewana) to announce that he had completed 27 years since his first film. Tendulkar responded to SRK’s tweet by punning on a few of SRK’s film titles and advised him to wear a helmet while riding bikes.
“Dear Baazigar, don't 'Chuck' De helmet. Wear one when on a bike Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Congratulations on completing 27 years! See you soon, my friend.” is what Tendulkar had to say.
Shah Rukh was quick to respond to Tendulkar’s tweet. The actor in his predictably witty style said that he would tell his grandchildren that he got his driving lessons from the great Sachin himself, SRK also suggested that they meet soon over fish curry.
This tweet exchange didn’t end here. Tendulkar took it to the next level by proposing that they have dinner post the world cup. The cricketer added that they could celebrate Suhana’s graduation and India’s win.
