Rani Mukerji is not on any social media platform, but on the eve of her birthday, she reached out to her fans through a live chat and updated them about her filmi comeback and her new full time role as a mother.
Rani will return to the big screen after two years with Hichki, a film reportedly being directed by Siddharth P Malhotra (of We Are Family fame) and produced under the Yash Raj Films banner. Rani revealed during the chat that the film’s story is a positive and inspiring tale of a woman who turns her biggest weakness into her greatest strength.
Rani also spoke about her little daughter Adira and husband Adita Chopra very candidly.
I’m not on social media, posting pictures of my daughter, because my husband is a very private person and I respect that. I also hate saying ‘no’ to all my fans, so if you would ask me for her pictures, I would hate to turn it down. So I stay away from social media. We’ve missed Rani’s filmi avatar, but the actress told her fans that she was busy learning the tricks of motherhood and that the last two years have been the happiest moments of her life.
My next avatar, is after Adira’s birth, this is my second new life. When you give birth to a baby, they actually say that a child gives birth to a mother. And that’s exactly what Adira has done with me. It’s amazing being a mother, you change overnight because there are certain things that they kind of teach you on a day to day basis. I have become stronger and I’ve also mellowed down. But a lot of things come with being a mother. I’m looking forward to my journey of raising Adira, so its going to be fun.Rani Mukerji
So what are her birthday plans? Rani plans to spend her big day at home with her daughter, husband and parents. She also said that her comeback film Hichki should be out later this year.
