Pictures of Rajinikanth sporting a police uniform on the sets of AR Murugadoss’ much awaited film Darbar have gone viral online. The pictures were leaked from the set of the Tamil superstar’s latest which is being shot between Chennai and Mumbai. Rajinikanth plays a cop after 25 years in Darbar. The actor last played a police officer in Pandian in 1992.
Darbar is Rajinikanth’s first film with filmmaker AR Murugadoss. The film also stars Nayanthara, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar in important roles. Earlier in May, a shooting schedule of Darbar at a college in Mumbai had to be put on hold after students of the college pelted stones on the crew of the film protesting against their strict rules.
Rajinikanth’s Darbar produced by Lyca is scheduled for a Pongal 2020 release.
