Superstar Rajinikanth’s films have always been super fun, so when the poster of his latest film surfaced today we were naturally very excited. Lyca Productions released the first look poster of his new film, which has been titled Darbar, on Tuesday.
Darbar is Rajinikanth’s maiden collaboration with veteran filmmaker AR Murugadoss. The poster suggests that Rajinikanth will essay the role of a cop in the film. Sporting shades that sort of resembles Salman Khan’s in Dabangg, he wears a mischievous and sly smile.
Apart from Rajinikanth’s face, the backdrop also has all the equipment that a police officer needs. We can see an IPS badge, a police belt and cap, rifles and bullets, a dog with a collar belt that says police, handcuffs, and the yellow tape that is used to keep away onlookers from a crime scene. The film has Nayanthara playing the female lead and we are keeping our fingers crossed.
