Purab Kohli is officially taken. Purabh got hitched on February 15 to his long time girlfriend Lucy Payton with whom he has a daughter. The couple had a very private ceremony in Goa with selected friends and family around. The couple were spotted in Punjabi wedding attire.
Now, being a kid from the 80s, Purab has been my ultimate crush as a teenager (Shah Rukh doesn’t come under this category). I remember how we girls used to choose our favourite among the VJs who were the coolest people on TV back then. Purab was always top of the list when it came to popularity. He then slowly moved to Bollywood but was only noticed in 2005 in Onir’s film My Brother Nikhil. When Rock On!! hit the popularity charts in 2008, Purab Kohli became synonymous with the drummer, KD.
He even broke norms when he had a baby with his fiance Lucy in 2016. While most are apprehensive of societal pressure, the couple chose this path rather than jumping to tie the knot. He said, “When Inaya was conceived, we were not married and it didn’t matter to me. When Lucy called me and said, ‘Hey we are having a baby’ and I said ‘wow! Let’s do it.’” Purab and Lucy welcomed a baby girl when the actor was in the middle of the filming of Rock On!! 2.
Purab and Lucy, who is a UK-based yoga teacher, finally got hitched and we wish them all the very best.
