Marriage preparations for B-Town’s next wedding - Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are on in full swing. And groom-to-be Nick and his family would be in India this weekend, according to reports.
As per reports, the couple has finalised Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur as the venue. Pre-wedding ceremonies of mehendi, sangeet will reportedly take place on 29 November, with a cocktail party on 30 November and the haldi on 1 December. The couple will wed on 2 December in two ceremonies according to Christian and Hindu traditions.
And it seems the invites are being sent out to all the guests, with a box a macarons all the way from Paris! Now we know what Priyanka and her mother, Madhu were up to in France. Farhan Akhtar and costume designer Eka Lakhani took to Instagram to share photos of the non-traditional shaadi ke ladoos.

What’s more is that the couple is planning to recreate their first official date as one of their pre-wedding ceremonies and will be donning the same outfits that they wore on that day. A source told DNA, “Both Priyanka and Nick wanted to start the new journey of their lives with a fond memory. They want it exactly the way it was — from the ambiance to the food and the setting.”
As per media reports, Ganesh Hedge is set to choreograph the sangeet ceremony and Nick Jonas will dance to Priyanka’s songs in what could be a 45-minute performance with his troupe.
With the wedding preparations in full swing, Chopra is seen juggling between Delhi and Paris. She is shooting for her upcoming film with Farhan Akhtar, The Sky is Pink in New Delhi.
Earlier, Priyanka posted a couple of selfies on her Instagram wherein she had tagged the location of Jama Masjid in Delhi. Another picture came up recently, where she is seen sitting with the director Shonali Bose and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur between shots.
The bride-to-be carried on her Paris shenanigans with her mother Madhu Chopra, as she was seen doing wedding shopping. She also posted about it as her recent Instagram story as she went shoe shopping at Jimmy Choo.
Apart from shopping, we think the mother-daughter duo needed to spend some quality time before all the madness of the wedding takes over. They also had a fun evening with friends in the city of Paris.
