Even as Britain prepares to welcome Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child soon, there’s a lot of excitement about who would be the royal baby’s godmother. And believe it or not, Priyanka Chopra - a close friend of Meghan’s - might just make it to that very privileged list.
According to royal commentator Andrea Boehlke, the royals are considering more than one godmother for the baby. “Priyanka Chopra has been mentioned, as has Misha Nonoo, the fashion designer. Lots of people to choose from,” Boehlke said, according to Express. Stylist Jessica Mulroney (whose daughter was one of Meghan Markle’s bridesmaids) is also on the list of celebs.
Earlier, when the Kensington Palace issued a statement announcing Meghan Markle’s pregnancy, Pee Cee went on record to say- “I would, as a friend, just say that I’m really excited for her.”
Priyanka had attended the royal wedding well.
