Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are reportedly tying the knot towards the end of November in Jodhpur. The high-profile couple got engaged in August this year. Priyanka just had a glitzy bridal shower in New York City. This will be followed by two weddings, the Indian one being a grand ceremony at the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace with around 200 guests, according to Filmfare.
As excitement about the wedding peaks, there’s some information about what the star couple would be donning for the wedding. A source close to the couple recently told The Sun that Nick Jonas would be in ivory while Priyanka Chopra would gun for red. The bridesmaids will wear Ralph Lauren outfits for the Christian wedding.
When Priyanka was asked about wedding dress and the actor told Entertainment Weekly, “I always believed that anything and everything that I wear, I have to be comfortable and cute. So it’s going to be cute and comfortable.”
We also hear that film producer Mubina Rattonsey has been chosen by Priyanka as her maid of honour. She is a close friend of the bride and was also a part of the lavish bachelorette in Amsterdam.
According to Pinkvilla, the couple will be performing at their sangeet ceremony. Nick, reportedly, has already planned to perform with his troupe and dedicate some beautiful songs to his to-be-wife. While the former Miss World is also said to have chosen a few of her popular dance numbers to perform at the sangeet.
A mehendi ceremony will also take place ahead of the wedding. A source told The Sun, “There is a mehndi event planned, where they will be decorated with henna body art, among other traditional Hindi pre-wedding events”.
While the couple’s fans await wedding pictures, a Filmfare report says that they have sold the rights to the pictures to an undisclosed international magazine for $2.5 million.
