1. Director Raghava Lawrence Walks Out of Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb
Just hours after Akshay Kumar revealed the first poster and look of his new film Laxmmi Bomb, filmmaker Raghava Lawrence announced his decision to step out of the project. Laxmmi Bomb is a remake of the 2011 Tamil horror comedy Kanchana written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. Akshay is set to play the ghost of a transgender woman in the film.
In his post on social media, filmmaker Raghava Lawrence said that he felt disrespected as a director since the poster and first look of the remake Laxmmi Bomba was released without his approval.

2. Will Smith Adds Bollywood Tadka to Aladdin
Actor Will Smith is in love with the world of Bollywood and says he asked director Guy Ritchie to add a touch of it in forthcoming film Aladdin. The actor, who has visited India several times for professional as well as personal reasons, said that he is eager to produce and work in a Bollywood project.
"Aladdin is hot... you are going to love it! I was trying to do my best Bollywood version in this movie and there is a Prince Ali sequence in the film and I kept telling Guy Ritchie you got to go full Bollywood, you have to give them full Bollywood flavour," Smith said at a red carpet event in Tokyo.
Asked about whom would he like to collaborate next in Bollywood, he said: "I have been visiting India, meeting and hanging out. They need to present me something, bring me something. I don't know what do we want to do - but we should start, we should produce it to together."
Disney's Aladdin is a thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of the loved animated classic movie. The animated version that had taken the world by storm in 1992 established a legendary status amongst fans, especially with its blockbuster music.

3. Rishi Kapoor Thanks the Ambanis for Their Love, Shares Pics
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who has been in the US for almost eight months now undergoing treatment for cancer was visited by Mukesh and Nita Ambani recently. Kapoor posted pictures with the Ambanis on social media and thanked them for their love.
Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York and had recently said that he is now cancer-free. "My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free," he said while speaking to the media.
In September last year, Kapoor had tweeted that he is going to America for some medical treatment and that he would be back soon. He had also asked his well wishers to not unnecessarily speculate about his health.
While Rishi Kapoor has been in the US undergoing treatment over the last several months, many Bollywood actors from Mumbai including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal have dropped in to visit him.

4. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Spotted Sharing a Pizza at Cannes
Actor Priyanka Chopra and her husband, singer Nick Jonas, look like they are having the time of their life at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The couple were spotted feasting on a pizza at their hotel balcony after attending the screening of the French film Les Plus Belles Annees D’une Vie (The Best Years of a Life). Post their pizza treat, Priyanka and Nick attended a party by Vanity Fair.
While Nick wore an all white tuxedo, Priyanka was seen in a white Georges Hobeika off-shoulder gown. The two seemed to be giving the paparazzi and their fans a show as they gorged on their pizza in between laughs in full public view. See the images below:

5. Hina Khan Shimmers Again at the Cannes Film Festival 2019
Popular television actor Hina Khan made another appearance on the red carpet at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The actor whore a shimmering silver gown with a thigh-high slit designed by Alin Le’ Kal an Australian fashion house.
Hina Khan is at the Cannes festival to publicise her upcoming debut film Lines. On Monday, Hina launched the poster of her film at Cannes, which is set in the backdrop of the Kargil War. The actor plays Nazia in the film and she took to Instagram to talk more about her character.
“Emotions don’t change because of the borders in between, the life and plight of Nazia is a simple portrayal of any girl who faces the magnitude of ordinary challenges in a not so ordinary story. #Lines is my debut in films. I hope you all love it as much we loved it.This is the first look launched at Cannes and an official poster which depicts more than a poster can!” Hina wrote.
Earlier when Hina made her debut on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, the editor of a popular Bollywood magazine put a post on Instagram apparently ridiculing the actor with the question, “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?”. Several celebrities and actors including Salman Khan came to Hina’s support after the remark was posted. The editor later apologised and deleted his comment.
