But media reports suggest that the four-day wedding is nothing short of a spectacle what with the videographer confirming the scale of the Sangeet ceremony and PeeCee revealing to Vogue that people will need vacations to get over the exhaustion of the wedding.
As per reports, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ relatives are set to play cricket ahead of the haldi on 1 December. In the limited-overs match, team N will be pitted against team P. The following day, on 2 December, the couple will tie the knot in a Hindu traditional shaadi, followed by a Christian wedding officiated by Jonas' father who is a pastor.
According to media reports PeeCee looked resplendent in a pink outfit that she teamed up with kundan-diamond jewellery for the sangeet ceremony on 30 November. She reportedly dedicated a performance to the groom-to-be and was teary-eyed when Nick put together a special act for her. Her cousin Parineeti Chopra ostensibly dazzled the guests by shaking a leg to Bollywood, Punjabi and Rajasthani numbers. Other international and Indian acts also complemented these performances. As per media reports the sangeet ceremony continued for about 4 hours.
