After a whirlwind wedding and a snowy honeymoon in Switzerland, Priyanka Chopra is ready to dive back into work. The actor made an appearance on popular US talk show The Ellen Show hosted by comedian Ellen DeGeneres.
On the show, Priyanka revealed that she is producing and starring in a feature based on the popular Netflix documentary series Wild Wild Country. The series chronicled Indian spiritual guru Bhagwan Rajneesh a.k.a Osho, his assistant Ma Anand Sheela and their followers in the Rajneeshpuram community in Oregon, USA.
Priyanka added that she is developing the project along with American director Barry Levinson and it will focus on Ma Sheela. Will Priyanka be playing Sheela in the film? We’ll have to wait to find out.
Priyanka shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption, “Ready for ya @theellenshow - tune in tomorrow! #isntitromantic”
It appears that she will feature on the show to promote her upcoming film Isn’t It Romantic. Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, the romantic comedy stars Liam Hemsworth and Rebel Wilson in lead roles. Priyanka will reportedly play a yoga instructor in the film.
Ellen posted a teaser from the show to her social media. The clip shows PC sharing how Nick “slid into her DMs” to try and get a date with her.
