Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot at a five-day wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. After a joyful mehendi and a spectacular sangeet, the two were wed in two consecutive ceremonies, one according to Christian traditions and the other honouring Hindu traditions.
The first pictures of Priyanka and Nick’s wedding were released shortly before the reception courtesy Hello and People magazines. The couple speaks about tying the knot within months of dating one another. Talking about her 75-foot-train designed by Ralph Lauren, Priyanka said, “When I learned that Ralph Lauren has designed only three wedding dresses in 50 years, I was blown away.”
"And forever starts now," Priyanka, 36, wrote on Instagram, along with an image in which she is seen walking alongside Nick, 26, with the 75-ft long veil of her white Ralph Lauren dress for the Christian wedding trailing behind.
Priyanka will be having a separate celebration for the film fraternity in Mumbai. For now, she will divide her excitement a bit towards work too.
