Recently, Priyanka Chopra had arrived in India for her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding with fiancee Ishita Kumar. However, she returned soon. Reportedly, the wedding had been postponed as Ishita was recovering from an emergency surgery. She had even put up a photo and captioned it - “ Recovering from surgery. Very painful but glad it's over.”
However, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the wedding has been called off as the couple broke up.
According to people who have access to her Instagram account, on Thursday Ishita posted a photo of herself on at a restaurant and captioned it: “ Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings.” Her parents then also commented encouraging words on the post, like “Close old book and write new story,” and “We are with you. feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be”.
The report also says that some photos from their roka ceremony have unexpectedly gone missing. All except for one solo photo from the ceremony.
Although, a few days ago Ishita had posted a photo from her bridal shower. In the caption of the photo she said “Last night was so much fun. Thank you for making it so special. Can’t believe it I’m getting married.”
According to earlier reports, Sidharth and Ishita’s wedding was supposed to take place in the last week of April. But Priyanka returned back to the US after casting her vote on Monday. Most recently she was spotted attending the Billboards Music Awards 2019 with the other Jonas sisters.
