A video of Nawazuddin Siddiqui being mobbed by fans in Kanpur has recently surfaced on social media. In the clip, one can see Nawazuddin making his way through a crowd when a fan pulls him back and tries to take a selfie with him. Shortly after, a bodyguard pushes the fan away and ushers Nawazuddin to safety.
Nawazuddin stars alongside Sanya Malhotra in Ritesh Batra directorial Photograph, which is about a street photographer who convinces a stranger to pose as his fiancee for his grandmother’s benefit. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and featured at the Berlin International Film Festival. It hits theatres on 15 March.
