Madhuri Dixit-Nene is set to be back in the game with Karan Johar’s Marathi film Bucket List. We have been seeing so much of her lately since the promotions of the film took off with gusto. The diva remains timeless.
In a major throwback moment KJo posted a video of actors Renuka Shahane and Madhuri Dixit on the sets of the Marathi film, breaking into a jig to one of the most popular songs (Lo Chali Main) from the 1994 blockbuster film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
Madhuri Dixit starred opposite Salman Khan in the film and the original song featured Khan and Shahane.

2. It’s Not Easy to Portray Him: Anupam Kher on Playing Ex PM
Anupam Kher, who plays the role of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister, says it is the most difficult film of his career as he has to get every little nuance right. The film is based on the book of the same name, written by Sanjay Baru, who served as the media advisor of Manmohan Singh from 2004 to 2008.
“I am approaching this part of Dr. Manmohan Singh completely from an actor’s point of view. There is a book and screenplay for reference. I have worked on it for six months. It is the most difficult film as he is the most visible person and so it is not easy to portray him. Also, the world knows him. His language, his movement… so it is more difficult. I need to internalise the character and be that person,”Kher told PTI

3. ‘October’ Not Plagiarised But It Disregarded ‘Life Rights’: SWA
The controversy that marred Varun Dhawan-Banita Sandhu’s October finally found a resolution of sorts with the Screenwriters Association (SWA) ruling out charges of plagiarism and infringement of copyright. It was stated that the director Shoojit Sircar should have given credit to Sunny Pawar (whose life allegedly made for the source material) on humanitarian grounds.
Hemal Trivedi, a filmmaker and editor, had alleged on social media that the Shoojit Sircar film was “stolen” from a Marathi film Aarti - The Unknown Love Story.
Trivedi took to Facebook to say that “Sircar has not just picked up the plot and the storyline, but has also blatantly copied the look and the moments from the original film”, and the film’s director Sarika Mene is now in depression and has become suicidal.

4. Priyanka Chopra’s Blazing Style at the Royal Wedding
Priyanka Chopra arrived for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, joined by Suits actor Abigail Spencer, looking regal in a lavendar dress suit and hat.
Priyanka and Meghan are close friends who first met at a party in Toronto while Meghan was shooting for Suits. The two have since then been hanging together and we know that since both Meghan and Priyanka are active on social media and have put out pictures with each other sharing “girl talk” or just chilling out.
Priyanka had recently penned a heartfelt note to Meghan, after the Suits star found her name in TIME 100 Influential People of 2018 list, “Somewhere among biryani, poutine and endless conversations, I realised just how deeply Meghan Markle cares for the world. 5. This Fest Was Harvey’s Hunting Ground: #MeToo Hits Cannes Closing
Italian Actor, singer, model, activist and director Asia Argento was one of the first prominent personalities to come out with accusations of sexual assault against disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein. Her early claims almost made her the face of the #MeToo movement. Her revelations to the international press garnered a lot of criticism and Argento was at the receiving end of the onslaught of victim-blaming.
The actor had disclosed that she had been raped by Weinstein to The New Yorker in October last year. She took the stage at the Cannes closing ceremony, and delivered a searing speech alongside Cannes jury member Ava DuVernay.
