Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta seem to have got their dream wedding, complete with a private performance by American pop-rock band Maroon 5. Rumours that the band had been booked by the Ambanis had been doing the rounds prior to the wedding and now there’s video proof!
For those of you who couldn’t make it to the wedding, here’s a glimpse of the band performing numbers such as ‘Girls Like You’ and ‘She Will Be Loved’.
The bride and groom shared a romantic moment as frontman Adam Levine crooned ‘She Will Be Loved’.
Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta wed on 9 March. The guest list for the glitzy event included the who’s who of business, politics and entertainment. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and wife Cherie Blair, former UN Secretary General Ban-Ki moon, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra were among those present.
