He might be ruling the hearts of millions, but Shah Rukh Khan has left Jayant Patil, Maharashtra MLC from Alibaug, less than impressed. In fact, going by a viral video, he was berated by the politician in no uncertain terms on his birthday.
The incident took place on 2 November, when SRK was returning from Alibaug to greet fans on his birthday. The star’s yacht was anchored at the jetty, where a large crowd had gathered to get a glimpse of him.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, Patil had a huge difficulty in negotiating the crowd and even got into an altercation with some of the fans. When he finally reached the jetty, he found his own yacht could not be brought in because SRK’s was parked there.
That rather tipped Patil’s temper. He shouted at SRK, who kept silent during the whole proceeding, before leaving in his yacht. The incident was filmed by several of SRK’s fans. Watch the video here:
