With KGF going great guns at the box office worldwide, Yash has more than one reason to celebrate his 33rd birthday on Tuesday, 8 January. But the actor is giving the celebrations a miss this year as a mark of respect to the recently deceased veteran actor Ambareesh.
Yash took to social media to share the news with his fans in a video. “There is a time for celebration and then there is a time for remembrance and reflection. This year is for the latter,” In the video, the actor also added, “We don’t have Rebel star Ambareesh with us this year. And so I have decided to not celebrate my birthday in his honour.”
Yash is also gearing up for Yasho-Yatra, which will celebrate the grand success of KGF, which till 6 January has raked in Rs 5.31 crore, giving the Kannada film industry a huge fillip.
