Kapil Sharma is returning to the big screen with Firangi. The film would be a comeback of sorts for the comedian-actor after his much publicised spat with colleague Sunil Grover and breakdown on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show.
While promoting Firangi, Kapil Sharma spoke about his spat with Grover and how he still considers him to be a friend in an interview to Indian Express. He insisted that while some things happened between them, a lot more was reported by the media.

Kapil insists that he did not fight with Sunil, though he was indeed under a lot of pressure and stress.
When we were going to Australia, just a couple of days before that an artiste passed away from our film. I had a scene with him the next morning, and I missed him terribly. I became very nervous and negative then.... Our shoot was also getting delayed a lot.... A fight between two of our members at the show in Australia ignited more anger in me...
Kapil feels Sunil should have been worried about him as he was clearly behaving abnormally, but insists he has no complaints against him.
Sunil and I know each other from the last nine years, and have worked together from the last five years. I don’t have any complaints for Sunil, but if I were Sunil, I would have tried to understand what is going wrong with a friend as he had not seen me like this in the last five years. But I have no complaints, he is a great performer, and a greater friend.
