Comedian Kapil Sharma is set to marry girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on 12 December, 2018. In an interview with IANS, Sharma revealed that the wedding will take place in Chatrath’s hometown of Jalandhar, followed by a reception on 14 December.
Earlier, Indian Express had asked Sharma if there was any truth in the December wedding speculations doing the rounds, he said, “Yes, it’s happening. Sab ki ho rahi hai main kyun peeche rahun (Everyone is getting married, why should I be left behind.) But the date hasn’t been decided yet.”
In March last year, Kapil Sharma had publicly declared his love for Ginni via Twitter with a photograph. Kapil’s tweet came with the message: “Will not say she is my better half .. she completes me .. love u ginni .. please welcome her .. I love her so much :)”
In March this year, Kapil Sharma’s new show Family Time With Kapil Sharma had to be shut down after airing just 3 episodes owing to rumours of the comedian’s well being. It was reported that Kapil was going through a tough phase that was taking a toll on his health again.
It all began in 2017, after his popular show - The Kapil Sharma Show had to be taken off air on Sony TV because the actor had begun to cancel shoots at the last minute thereby keeping stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi waiting on the sets. Kapil’s rough patch began after reports of an brawl with co-actor Sunil Grover which resulted in them parting ways with each other.
Kapil Sharma has now been taking proactive steps regaining his health and was in a holistic medical centre in Bengaluru and is all set to make another comeback on Sony TV with a new show. We wish Kapil Sharma the very best for his comeback.
