On Wednesday, 19 June Hrithik Roshan’s sister Sunaina Roshan took to Twitter to extend her support to Kangana Ranaut without mentioning any further context. Shortly after, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel posted a series of tweets talking about the family problems that Sunaina claimed she was facing.
Now, Kangana has opened up about the matter. Recently, she said, “I think her (Sunaina’s) family is taking care of her. So, I wish them all the very best. She spoke to me. She’s under her family’s guidance, so they’re taking care of her.”
Kangana and Rangoli are Bringing me Justice: Sunaina
Earlier, Sunaina had said that Kangana and Rangoli are bringing her justice. “I will meet Kangana and Rangoli as they are the ones bringing me justice”, Sunaina told Pinkvilla. She also added that her father slapped her because she was in love with a Muslim guy. “Last year, I fell in love with a journalist Ruhail Amin, but neither my father nor Hrithik approved of the relationship. My father slapped me and said he was a terrorist”, Sunaina said.
She also said that Hrithik had promised to pay her rent, but when she took an apartment, her brother said 2.5 lakh rent is very expensive. She also alleged that her parents weren’t providing for her. “So I reached out to Kangana because she speaks about women empowerment”, Sunaina told Pinkvilla.
Meanwhile, Hrithik’s cousin has also spoken up about the incident. Not just him, even Hrithik’s former wife Sussanne Khan also came out in support of the family.
Request the Ranauts to Be Sensitive: Hrithik’s Cousin Eshaan
Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Eshaan Roshan has responded to Rangoli claiming that the Ranauts are using “a vulnerable period of the family for their own ends.” He tweeted that Sunaina’s was in a fragile state of mind on account of her father’s health issues – Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year – and requested them to “to be sensitive and not act as vultures.”
“It’s sad to see how people can stoop this low as to use a vulnerable period of the family for their own ends,” he tweeted.
Sunaina Asked Kangana for Help, Says Rangoli
In her series of tweets, Rangoli had alleged that Sunaina has sought Kangana’s help as the Roshan family is physically assaulting her. According to her, the reason for the abuse is that Sunaina is “in love with a Muslim man from Delhi.” She also alleged that Hrithik is trying to send Sunaina to jail.
Rangoli also said that the reason she is making all this personal information public is because Sunaina has been calling up Kangana and sobbing on the phone. Naturally, Kangana feels helpless in the situation. According to Kangana’s sister, Sunaina has blocked her number so that she can avoid being harassed by her family.
Sunaina Roshan Claims She Is Going Through ‘Living Hell’ With Her Family
On 18 July, Sunaina Roshan had taken to Twitter to extend her support to Kangana. Sunaina tweeted, “I support Kangana all through.” However, she did not give any details about what exactly she was talking about.
Earlier, she had also tweeted about the difficult times she was experiencing. “And living in hell continues ....gosh I’m tired,” she wrote.
Earlier there were rumours about Sunaina facing critical health issues. However, the Roshan sibling took to Twitter to put those rumours to rest. She also claimed in an interview that she has had no show of support from Hrithik or her parents since the rumours surfaced. “Nobody has spoken to me. Nobody is in touch with me… It’s sad but they are not even supporting me,” she told Pinkvilla.
