A complaint has been registered at Khar police station against Kangana Ranaut, her sister Rangoli and some members of her staff by a real estate broker. The latter alleges that the actor hasn't paid him the complete consideration towards the brokerage on her bungalow in Pali Hill.

Kangana has cleared the air, however. She told DNA that her finance team paid 1 per cent brokerage – which is above Rs 20 lakh – but that the broker is now demanding 2 per cent brokerage.

My finance team was taking care of the deal. The complainant was paid 1 per cent brokerage, close to Rs 22 lakh, which is as per industry standards; now, he is asking for 2 per cent brokerage. At no point was two per cent brokerage decided on. The money transferred is through the bank and all documents are available.

Her sister Rangoli claimed that they have already submitted their written statement to the police. However – as reported by DNA – police sub-inspector Chaskar of Khar Police Station (which is dealing with the case) said that he is yet to receive a statement from the actor.

Kangana had bought a bungalow on Pali Hill last year.

The property in question is a bungalow that the actor had bought in September 2017, by paying a price of Rs 20.07 crore. The total area of the bungalow located at the upmarket Pali Hill area is 3,075 sq ft.
