Joe Jonas has confessed that he blacked out while delivering the best man’s speech during little brother Nick Jonas’ wedding to Priyanka Chopra. It was an emotional moment for the family, Joe said on US breakfast show Today, and his notes helped him get back on track.
“I kinda blacked out for a minute because I was just overwhelmed with emotion. This is not only my brother, (he’s my) best friend, and to see him marrying his dream girl, there was a lot of tears the whole weekend and a lot of smiles, so I had it on paper, which was the most important part. It was a special week.”Joe Jonas
The Jonas family attended the lavish wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, where PeeCee and Nick exchanged vows in Christian as well as Hindu ceremonies.
According to NBC Montana, Joe added: "I was the best man, and had a lot of responsibilities, but mostly it was trying to figure out what and where to be at the different times, and collecting (the groomsmen).”
Joe attended the wedding with fiance and GoT star Sophie Turner, and according to him, the Nickyanka wedding was indeed a dream one.
“It’s been amazing, marrying Nick off to Priyanka; it’s just been fantastic. Obviously, this has been one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen and to be a part of it was a dream.”Joe Jonas
