So that’s yet another Hollywood couple who’ve decided to call it quits. According to reports, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have announced that they’ve been separated since late last year. They’ve been together as a couple for 7 years and have been married for two and a half years.
In a joint announcement Aniston and Theroux stated:
“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.
“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another. ”
Jennifer Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt for five years, while this was Theroux’s first marriage.
Jennifer will next be seen in an Apple drama series with Reese Witherspoon about the world of network morning TV. Theroux was a part of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Though the couple announced that they split at the end of 2017, they celebrated the New Year together with their annual vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with close friends including Jason Bateman and his family.
