The Tamil film industry paid a tribute to Sridevi on Sunday, 11 March. The late actor’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi attended the prayer meet in Chennai with their father, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's close friend designer Manish Malhotra. Sridevi, 54, passed away on 24 February in a Dubai hotel.
When they came back to the city, they were seen holding hands at the airport, displaying their quiet kinship. Shared grief strengthens bonds. Janhvi, 21 and Khushi, 17 had to brave the loss of their mother at a young age.
Janhvi is set to make her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, a remake of Sairat.
