Actor Huma Qureshi, who is currently touring San Francisco, had a total fan-girl moment when she ‘ran into’ Rocky star Sylvester Stallone during ‘lunch hour’.
Sharing a selfie which she took with Stallone, Huma captioned the post: “Even when no one backed him, he backed himself . He waited and fought and never stopped following his dream. Rocky Balboa for life.”
Huma seems to be referring to the rough start that Stallone had in his career. The actor appeared mostly in supporting roles, before he pooled in all his resources, wrote the script for Rocky and sold it to a studio with the lone condition being that he had to be caste in the lead role.
And the rest, as we know, has made film history. Rocky received 10 Oscar nominations at the 49th Academy Awards and won three, including the coveted Best Picture.
While Stallone is seen sporting a simple black collared-tee, Huma seems to be wearing a brown coat. While the Kaala actor clicked the first selfie, the second one seems to be taken by Stallone aka Rocky himself!
