It was time to celebrate for rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh as he shared a throwback picture from his wedding to Shalini Singh and added that it was their anniversary on Wednesday 23 January. That’s right, the couple has now been married for 8 years now and in the photos they are seen decked out in traditional outfits for the shaadi ceremony.
Honey wrote as he posted the snaps on Instagram, “Wish me n my wife “Happy Shaadi Day to us" #happyanniversary#makhna #mymakhna”

Honey’s relationship status may be news to some but that is because the musician clearly likes to keep his personal life private. Honey and Shalini had reportedly been dating for a while before tying the knot in 2011 in a ceremony away from the public eye.
This was around the same time Honey had his Bollywood breakout and was climbing the charts with songs like ‘Lungi Dance’ and ‘Angreji Beat’. After multiple hits over the next couple of years, Yo Yo stepped away from the spotlight in 2015. It was later revealed that the rapper was in rehab undergoing treatment for bipolar disorder.
Honey made a quiet comeback in 2017 with the tracks ‘Dil Chori’ and ‘Urvashi’. His latest album is called Makhna and the title track was released in December.
