The 33 year-old Padmaavat star however had a bit of a warning as well, saying

Being married is beautiful. Like Ranveer said I think we recommend it to every young person who is in love. But just be sure. Don’t jump into something because someone expects you to get married or there is pressure on you. Know in your heart that that’s the right person for you and you would want to spend the rest of your life with that person.

"The most important thing is that you need to find someone who respects you and who truly understands you. For any relationship to be successful, trust, friendship and mutual respect is very important," she added.

She called 2018 "truly magical" for her.

It started off with ‘Padmaavat’ and I think the way in which the film was received and the character was loved was great. I also spent a large part of last year on myself, enriching myself, spending a lot of time with family, travelling, and of course, wedding. I have been away from a film set for a year and I am looking forward to get back to work,

Deepika will be next be seen in Raazi-director Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, based on the life of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. Deepika will also be producing the film.
