Salman Khan has topped Forbes India's 2018 list of richest Indian celebrities for the third time in a row. He raked in a phenomenal Rs 253.25 crore this year, thanks to Race 3 and Tiger Zinda Hai, along with TV appearances and brand endorsements.
India cricket captain Virat Kohli is on the second spot with total earnings of Rs 228.09 crore. Akshay Kumar bagged the third place with a total gross of Rs 185 crore.
Deepika Padukone, the only woman in the top five, comes next with Rs 112.8 crore. Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is fifth after raking in Rs 101.77 crore.
SRK has dropped to No 17 from last year’s second position with Rs 56 crore. Priyanka Chopra too has slipped from No 7 last year to No 49 with Rs 18 crore in 2018.
This year’s list however, has quite a few debutants. Think Nucleya, Mammootty, Vijay Deverakonda, Kortala Siva, Taapsee Pannu, Jasprit Bumrah and Nayanthara, the only woman actor from the South Indian film industry to make the list.
