Actor Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on Monday and have named her Miraya Takhtani. The couple took to Instagram to share the good news and put up a beautiful pink-colored card to reveal their daughter’s name. The card reads, “Welcome to our tribe baby girl, Miraya Takhtani” and notes her birth date as 10th June 2019Esha captioned the post, “Thank you very much for the love & blessings.”
The post has already received reactions from her industry colleagues and fans. “Heartiest Congratulations,” wrote Aarti Chhabria and Lara Bhupathi wrote “Heartiest congratulations @imeshadeol and Bharat on the arrival of your angel!! Much love to all of you!!!”.
The couple has been blessed with a baby girl for the second time. Esha gave birth to her first daughter, Radhya Takhtani, two years ago in October 2017. She had posted Radhya’s picture on Instagram earlier, to announce her second pregnancy and wrote alongside, “I’m being promoted to big sister”
Esha is the daughter of actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. When asked how they reacted to the news of her second pregnancy, she told Mumbai Mirror, "All the four grandparents are excited, for them the more the merrier." The actor, also a trained classical dancer, married businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012. On the work front, she was last seen playing the role of a chef in the short film Cakewalk.
Recently, she had congratulated her mother Hema Malini and step-brother Sunny Deol on twitter, on their respective victories in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. While Hema won from the Lok Sabha seat of Mathura, Sunny won from Gurdaspur seat in Punjab.
“She did it again 😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 congratulations and my best wishes on round 2 ! Ur doing a fantastic job as an Indian citizen @dreamgirlhema ! #proudofyou,” she tweeted to Hema.
She wished Sunny saying, “Congratulations @iamsunnydeol my best wishes to u always 👍🏼😊♥️”
Hema Malini and Dharmendra were spotted outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital on their way to visit their daughter and newly born granddaughter.
