2018 was the year of Vicky Kaushal. With Takht releasing in 2019, the man’s reign over B-Town is set to solidify. On being asked about the promising newcomers in B-Town, Katrina Kaif had recently said that she’d like to work with Vicky Kaushal,since she has a feeling that they might look good together, on screen. When Vicky was recently asked about Katrina's statement, he told Mumbai Mirror, “I was surprised that she knows about my existence. But the love that is coming my way is great”.

Now a video of Vicky Kaushal proposing to Katrina Kaif onstage at an award function, has been doing the rounds on social media. Salman Khan’s reaction to the proposal is winning the internet.

While The Accidental Prime Minister is in the grip of controversy, Anupam Kher who essays the role of the former PM Manmohan Singh took to social media to share a video of how the interior of the Prime Minister’s Office was built in Borough in North England.

The actor gave netizens a glimpse into the making of the film.

Meanwhile, a petition seeking a ban on the trailer of the movie was filed in the Delhi High Court on 5 January, as per an IANS report.

4. Dilip Kumar Lessee of Bandra Plot for 999 Years: Property Trustees

A Bollywood thespian, Dilip Kumar got a major boost in the ongoing battle with a Mumbai builder over his Bandra bungalow plot on Sunday (6 January). The original owners of the property, the Seth Mulraj Khatau Trust (SMKT) categorically stated that he is the "perpetual lessee" and not a tenant, as alleged, of the property "for the period of 999 years".

The rent on the property has already been commuted and the "lease is still valid and subsisting", said a prominent Public Notice released by the SMKT in the media on Saturday-Sunday, through its lawyer, Altamesh Shaikh.

5. Tahira Kashyap Shares an Emotional Post After Last Chemo Session

Author, teacher, writer, director and radio programmer Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and she has been battling the ailment like a boss lady. After her final session of chemotherapy, she took to social media to share a series of posts with husband and actor, Ayushmann Khurrana, celebrating her journey to recovery.

She wrote, “Can’t keep calm!!! Last and final chemo! F*#k yesss!! It’s been some journey. The learning has been immense, some of which, I know, I will realise with time. Thank you to each one who has been praying for me! Lots of love and prayers from my end to each one of you! My heart is bouncing with joy and gratitude.”
