Dwayne Johnson is gearing up for his upcoming film, Jumanji: The Next Level. The film also stars Danny DeVito as one of the lead characters, Spencer’s grandfather. Now, Johnson took to Instagram to write a long note on DeVito’s birthday.
Sharing a photo of the duo, he wrote, “ Twinning and Winning. Happy Birthday to the real star of our upcoming #JumanjitheNextLevel, the one and only, Danny DeVito. This role required me to be deep inside you. Excuse me, that came out horribly wrong. This role required me to EMBODY you and eventually became one of the BEST TIMES I’ve ever had playing a character in my career. But the best part of it all, has become our unlikely, yet beautiful bond we’ve formed. Kevin Hart who? Exactly. Happy Birthday, my friend. And you’re absolutely 100% right - life is a gift and sometimes we forget that. Cheers to the gift of life.”
The trailer for the fourth installment released some time back and it has a little surprise. Jumanji: The Next Level features Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Danny Glover and Danny DeVito in the cast. It also brings back Nick Jonas who was also seen in the earlier film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
The trailer packs in a lot of fun, action and adventure as the team battles between the jungles, deserts and frozen ground to get back to reality. Jumanji: The Next Level is scheduled to release in India on 13 December in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu.
