After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, all signs point to the theory that the next instalment, Endgame, will involve the Avengers collecting back the Infinity Stones to use against the mad Titan Thanos. However, another Marvel villain i.e. Hela from Thor: Ragnarok may have already gotten to them.
Okay, were just kidding but clearly we’re not the first ones to make that joke about Hela actor Cate Blanchett’s dazzling dress at the BAFTAs on Sunday night 10 February. Cate walked the red carpet for the 72nd British Academy Film Awards in London wearing a stunning black dress with a familiar embellishment.
The dress was designed by Christopher Kane of Scotland and featured a centrepiece of ‘gems’ that very much looked like the Infinity Stones Thanos was so protective of. Considering Hela wasn’t confirmed dead at the end of Ragnarok it only makes sense. Many fans on Twitter made the connection.
Considering Cate/Hela’s stunning fashion sense, it’s fitting that she would flaunt the stones this way instead of a gauntlet, don’t cha think?
