Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra surprised the internet with his tongue-in-cheek comment about his wife Hema Malini, who was recently spotted sweeping the floors of Parliament as a part of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. The latter also received much lack for one of the videos of her sweeping that went viral on the internet.
Now, Dharmendra recently took to Twitter to share a heartwarming video in which he is helping a calf feel more comfortable around its mother cow. “My young buffalo’s first baby. Neither mother knows how to feed her newly born nor baby knows how to take milk from his young mom. But I will make them easy with each other. A farmer cum Actor,” he wrote on Twitter.
One Twitter user then replied to Dharmendra’s tweet. He asked the Sholay actor if his wife knew how to properly use a broom. “सर, मैडम ने ऐक्चूअली कभी ज़िंदगी में झाड़ू उठायी क्या?” (Sir, has madam actually ever used a broom?), the user wrote.
Now, Dharmendra’s response to this tweet is what surprised everyone. He replied saying that he too was surprised by her amateur performance as she is only used to picking up a broom in films. He further added that he, on the other hand, has amazing brooming skills.
He wrote, “Haan films main , mujhe bhi अनाड़ी लग रहीं थीं . मैं ने मगर बचपन में , अपनी माँ का हमेशा हाथ बटाया है । मैं झाड़ू में माहिर था । I love cleanliness.” (Yes, she has used a broom in films. She seemed like an amateur to me as well. However, during my childhood I often used to help my mother. Which is why my brooming skills are excellent. I love cleanliness.)
