Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married on the banks of Lake Como in Italy on 14 and 15 November after dating for six years. Fans waited with baited breath to get a glimpse of the couple as bride and groom, who were fiercely private about their ceremonies - a Chitrapur-Saraswat style wedding, an Anant Karaj ceremony and other pre-wedding festivities like the Mehendi and Sangeet.
After Italy and Bangalore, the wedding squad geared up for the Mumbai reception on 28 November. While the other ceremonies were largely family affairs, this ceremony was expected be graced by the who’s who of B-Town gracing the occasion. The first of the post-wedding festivities was flagged off with a reception in Bengaluru on 21 November. Anil Kumble and PV Sindhu were among those on the guest list at The Leela Palace.
Post the Mumbai reception Ranveer and Deepika are set to throw a big Bollywood party on 1 December at The Grand Hyatt. The bash will be a black tie event. We haven’t got a glimpse of a B-Town celeb at any of the festivities so far and the Mumbai ceremonies would definitely make up for that, giving the fans a colossal dose of glam.
