It’s Madame Tussauds Next for Deepika Padukone
After giving a riveting performance in the massive hit, Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is now basking in the glory of having her statue being unveiled at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. This comes after Deepika being featured on the prestigious TIME 100 Influential People of 2018 list as well as in Variety’s International Women’s Impact Report 2018.
The actor took to Facebook to make the announcement to the media. Recalling a childhood memory, Deepika Padukone was excited about having her wax statue in Delhi as well as London.
“I felt very excited because the only time I visited the Madame Tussauds was in London when I was very little, with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me obviously, and then to receive a letter to be a part of that and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is iconic in so many ways, you know it actually feels great to be a part of that.”Deepika Padukone on Facebook
